Feeding and starting a ferment
Mix starter, water and flour in the container, place it in the unit, then choose a mode with the dial and start.
Steps
- While the unit is idle, open the clear lid and lift the Tritan container out.
- Add starter, water and flour to the container and mix well.
- Place the container in the unit and close the lid.
- Turn the dial to choose a mode and press the button to start.
Fill the container with 150–300 ml only.
Below 150 ml the height sensor can't measure correctly; above 300 ml it may overflow.
Don't put the lid on the Tritan container while fermenting.
The sensor at the top of the unit measures your starter's height, so it can't measure with the container lid on.
Finishing
When fermentation is complete or you want to cancel, hold the dial for more than 3 seconds and follow the Cancel or Complete prompt.
